Getting back on the content-production wagon has been somewhat bumpy for us over the past few weeks, but I feel like what we have in the pipeline is well worth the wait. Whether you’re a seasoned author, brand new to writing, or a reader, there will be some amazing content coming this year for everyone!

And that starts this week with a new episode of the Authorpreneur Mindset Podcast! Just a short one introducing Season 2 and laying out expectations for the rest of the year, but there are some amazing shows in the works, including expert advice and interviews with industry professionals! In fact, I currently have 4 interviews lined up with another 4 awaiting emails. Each of these interviews will bring a different perspective from the industry since they range from editors and magazine publishers to traditionally published and self-published authors.

This weeks blog post, written by Marie, was one that I think many of us find frustrating, how to find time to write. She does a great job laying out 8 simple steps you can start doing right now to give yourself the time you need to write. Just think, if you start writing just a few words a day today, you’ll have a novel written in less than a year!

In upcoming news, a new community section is going to be opening up here on Steam Powered Dreams! We’ve grown a small but powerful following across our social media accounts and when we reached out to see if there’s anything they’d like to share, the response was amazing. While the exact details haven’t been fully fleshed out yet, you can expect to start seeing more reader-centric content coming very soon, including book reviews, bestseller lists, and more informational topics, such as how anyone can find enjoyment from reading.

The last thing I want to mention is updates to our mailing list. If you’ve signed up in the past, you might remember we had two major newsletters, the Authors Digest and Writers Compendium. While both of these will be returning, we’re going to take a good look at the information we provide and make sure it’s even better than ever.

But, that’s not all for the mailing list. Over the next year, we’ll be rolling out useful information on many different topics, as well as releasing new products, books, and free stuff. While this information won’t always be exclusive to the mailing list, that is where you’ll be able to get the information first.
